Welcome to the home page of Romford Christian Centre, an assembly of The Apostolic Church, UK. The Apostolic Church started in 1916 as a result of the renowned Welsh Revival of 1904. It is an Evangelical, Pentecostal and Trinitarian denomination with a strong commitment to mission. We have established Apostolic movements in over 40 countries around the world, many of which are self-governing.
The Apostolic Church UK has about 110 churches and still growing. Our national Headquarters is in London. Our national conference is held annually in Swansea, South Wales, and draws visitors and delegates from around the world. About the Local Church – Romford Christian Centre
The local Apostolic Church has been in Romford, Essex for over 30 years; the church building has an even longer history of Christian heritage in the area. It was used by Romford Town Mission, and later by the Brethren Fellowship. The Apostolic Church acquired the building in 1980. The building was renamed the Romford Christian Centre in 2002, as an expression of our vision and an attestation of many years of Christian heritage and ministry to the community of Romford, Essex.
Romford Christian Centre is a thriving multi-cultural church with a growing congregation of Believers from different social background. We work in partnership with other Christian denominations to share the love of God, and bring hope to the many people of our community.
